Jimmey Earl Greer was born on Nov. 8, 1957 in Hugo, Okla., to Vollie Earl and Juanita (Morehead) Greer. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kathy Smith.

Jimmey was a graduate of Fort Towson High School, Class of 1976 and worked for many years as a paint and dry wall finisher. He married his beloved wife, Vickie Davis on Sept. 3, 2004, and they made their home in Fort Towson. In January of 2009 he went to work for RK Hall Construction at the Sawyer Rock Quarry. Jimmey was a hard worker and took pride in everything that he did, especially making sure his yard was mowed every week. He enjoyed hunting, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his kids and grandkids. Christmas was always a special holiday for Jimmey, he enjoyed spending that special time with the kids. He will be missed tremendously this year and the years to come.

Jimmey is survived by his wife, Vickie; sons: Jason Covington, and wife, Cheryl of Sterling, Okla., and Robert Covington and wife, Crystal of Atlanta, Texas; grandchildren: Colten Covington, Baylee Covington, Zoe Scott, Caden Covington, Madyx Covington, Jacee Covington and Tatum Covington; sisters: Karen Earnest and husband, Jim of Fort Towson, Okla., and Debbie Hanson of Elizabeth City, N.C., along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Arrangements are under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
