Jimmy Dewayne Mitchell

Jimmy Dewayne Mitchell, of Hugo, Okla., was born Dec. 20, 1962 in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Harry “Pete” and Pecora Scott Mitchell. He passed away Oct. 10, 2021, at the age of 58. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Richard Mitchell and sisters: Freddie Mitchell and Victoria Cole.

Jimmy was a caring man, he loved his money but when he saw a need, he was there to help.

Jimmy loved looking good and was obsessed with his jewelry. He loved to hunt and enjoyed hunting rabbits and squirrels. His family will tell stories of early morning hunting trips with him. Jimmy enjoyed music and spent many late nights sitting around enjoying time with his friends. Jimmy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jimmy is survived by his daughters: Kimmi Mitchell and Brandy Mitchell of Idabel, Okla.; five grandchildren, a great-grandchild, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
