Jimmy Gradie Haynes

Graveside services for Jimmy Gradie Haynes, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. Sept. 14, 2021 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo. Jimmy passed away Sept. 11, 2021, at the age of 78.

Jimmy Gradie Haynes was born on July 27, 1943 in Frogville, Okla., to Joel and Viola (Powell) Haynes. He was preceded in

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Eloise Reich Haynes; brothers: Jr. Haynes, Howard Haynes, Johnny Haynes, Billy Haynes, Virgil Haynes; a grandchild; two great-grandchildren.

Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Hugo, Okla., and managed the creosote plant for Central Forest in Hugo. He was a member of the Hugo Bass Club and loved fishing. Jimmy also enjoyed hunting, woodworking and gardening. He enjoyed telling stories and his greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family. Jimmy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jimmy is survived by his daughters: Darlene Reynolds and husband of Soper, Okla., Sharon Carter and husband of Soper, Lisa Robbins and husband of Hugo; nine grandchildren; 23 greatgrandchildren; one great great-grandchild, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Chaplain Don Day officiated the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
