John William Young

Funeral services for John William Young, of Sawyer, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. Jan. 28, 2021 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home.

John William Young was born April 21, 1972 in Paris, Texas. He left this world for his eternal home on Jan. 25, 2021, at the age of 48.

John was preceded in death by his father, Harold Dean Bryant.

John was an avid hunter and fisherman in his younger days. He worked in the healthcare field for years and cared for many others during his life. He loved his family and friends very much.

John is survived by his mother, Susan Walker; sisters: Lori Bryant and Farrah Howard; an aunt, his cousins; the love of his life, Misty and family. John is also survived by his three nieces and a nephew who loved him dearly. He was such a presence in all our lives. It will be so hard to go on without him. Our family finds comfort in knowing he is with his MawMaw, PawPaw, Auntie Toots, Uncle Johnny and Ronald Jones. May it be a blessed reunion for him.

Jessie Babcock officiated the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
