Graveside services for Johnny were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Wilson Family Cemetery, north of Ringold, Okla., with Randy Watkins officiating. Johnny went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 5, 2021, in Broken Bow, Okla., at the age of 76.

Johnathan Dewain Wilson, fondly known as “Big John,” was born June 5, 1944, the son of Alec and Rhoda (Jefferson) Wilson in Ringold, Okla. Johnny served his country in the U.S. Army. He married the love of his life, Dollie Faye Spears in Chicago, Ill., on Nov. 15, 1975. Johnny graduated from Barber College in Chicago. He worked as a barber for 32 years in Wright City, Okla. He also worked for the McCurtain County Law as well as Wright City and Valliant Law Enforcement. Johnny was a man of God and a hard worker. He loved being outdoors, going to visit people and listening to gospel music. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Johnny spent time going to visit Branson and he would always hit up a flea market if he passed one. Johnny is preceded in death by his parents; five siblings: Ruby Whitetailfeather, Ray Wilson, Roy Wilson, Nathan Wilson and Carlo Wilson.

Johnny is survived by his wife, Dollie Faye Wilson of the home; one son, Michael Wilson of Tulsa, Okla.; two sisters: Cora Faye Kohrt and Teresa Wilson; grandchildren: Michael Wilson, Jr., Michaela Wilson, Josefina Wilson, Violet Padgett.
