Funeral services for Keith Dickson, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2022 at Church of God in Powderly, Texas.

Keith Edmund Dickson was born April 27, 1955 in Zanesville, Ohio, and had lived in the Hugo area for the past 40 years. He departed this life on Oct. 21, 2022, at the age of 67. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Hansel and Martha Lee (McGee) Hansel and a sister, Diane Taylor.

Keith was of the Church of God faith and loved going to church. He enjoyed camping and spending time outdoors, traveling to Arkansas to dig for crystals and diamonds, loved music and going to concerts and he also liked college football. His favorite team was the Ohio Buckeyes. Keith loved being around people and never met a stranger. He married Winnie Sellers on Feb. 9, 1977 in Paris, Texas. She survives him. Other survivors include his son, Luther Laughlin; his daughter, Melissa Greiner; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brothers: Steven Hansel and Michael Hansel; and his sister, Ellen Hempfling, along with many other relatives and friends.

Interment followed the service at Georgia Cemetery in Georgia, Texas, with Mark Sanders officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
