Larry Joe Brownfield

Celebration of life services for Larry Joe Brownfield will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2023 at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Pastor Randy Mayfield officiating. Larry passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023, in Hugo, Okla., at the age of 70.

Larry Joe Brownfield was born to Oscar and Betsy Jo (Nabors) Brownfield on May 26, 1953, in Talihina, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Brownfield and Betsy Jo Aaron; foster parents, Arvie and Ollie Drinkard; his wife, Mayola Kay Brownfield; son, Joseph Todd Brownfield; baby Brownfield. Larry is survived by his two sons: Jason Brownfield and wife, Elizabeth of Hugo and Nathan Brownfield of Valliant, Okla.; three granddaughters; an aunt, numerous extended family members. Services are under the direction of Mt. Olive Funeral Home.
