Larry Joe Daniels

Funeral services for Larry Joe Daniels, of Scroggins, Texas, were held at 10 a.m. July 8, 2021 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Valliant. Larry passed away July 3, 2021, at the age of 60.

Larry Joe Daniels was born on March 28, 1961 in Dallas, Texas, to George and Helen (Petty) Daniels. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew.

Larry married Tammy Cook on Dec. 24, 1981 in Dallas County and had resided in Scroggins, Texas, for more than 30 years. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Scroggins. Larry enjoyed hunting and playing softball. He loved the OU Sooners, but his greatest love was his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Larry is survived by his wife, Tammy; son, Parker Daniels and companion of Scroggins, Texas; daughter, Tera Daniels of Scroggins, Texas; two grandchildren; brothers: Junior Daniels and wife and Red Daniels and wife; sisters: Sonya Clements and husband, along with a host of other family friends and loved ones.

Interment followed the service at Valliant Cemetery with Bro. Jim Boyte officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
