Funeral services for Patti Gail Santillan, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. June 22, 2024 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home.

Patti Gail Santillan, a longtime resident of the Hugo area, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Medical City of McKinney, at the age of 57. Patti was one of six children, being the only daughter born on Sept. 30, 1966 to Jimmy Ray and Joann (Morehead) Lindamood in Hugo. She was preceded in death by her father and a granddaughter.

Patti attended school at Fort Towson and Hugo as a child, before continuing her education at SOSU where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work in 2000. Patti worked for the State of Oklahoma Department of Human Services for 10 years, before retiring due to health reasons.

Patti enjoyed going to the casino, watching TV, especially cooking shows and cooking for her family. In her spare time, she loved to crochet blankets for her grandchildren, volunteer at the local shelters and Toys for Tots. She found joy in planning family events and making memories.

Patti married the love of her life, Santiago Santillan in March 1996 after being together 10 years. They made a home together in Gay, Okla., where they raised their loving family. Patti is survived by her husband, Santiago Santillan of Hugo; sons: Michael Lindamood of Hugo, Joe Santillan and wife of Hugo and Santiago Santillan and wife of Guam; daughters: Adara Lindamood of Hugo and Tricia Ayers-Santillan and husband of Hugo; mother, Joann (Morehead) Marsh of Fort Towson; five brothers and 15 grandchildren, all of whom brought great joy to her.

Patti was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, niece and friend. She will be immensely missed by all.

Interment followed the service at Springs Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Hensley officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
