Randell Dwight Jones

Memorial services for Randell Dwight Jones will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Bryant officiating. Randell Dwight Jones, fondly known as “Randy,” passed away on April 14, 2021 at his home in Soper, Okla., at the age of 76.

Randell Dwight Jones was born on July 26, 1944 to Fred and Laura (Milam) Jones in Los Angeles, Calif. He married the love of his life, Sara Lee (Waterhouse) on Oct. 5, 1984, in Las Vegas, Nev. Randy served his country in the United States Air Force and was of the Baptist faith. Randy was a long-time resident in this area for more than 27 years and enjoyed riding his Harley. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Jones and Laura Drummond and three brothers: Dennis Drummond, Charlie Drummond and Dewey Jones.

Randy is survived by his wife, Sara Lee Jones of the home; nine children: Lasha Jones of Soper, Ryan Jones of Melissa, Texas, David Jones of San Antonio, Texas, Betty Driggs of New Braunfels, Texas, Dwane Jones of Hugo, Okla., Robert Jones of Shawnee, Okla., George Arnold of Hesperia, Calif., Kim King of Hugo and Shawn Arnold of Menifee, Calif.; 36 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four siblings: Rick Drummond of Yucaipa, Calif., Pam Drummond of Missouri, Sherry Howard of Santa Clarita, Calif., and Patricia Taylor. Services are under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.
