Richmond Virginia Parish, Jr. was born on July 15, 1964 in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Richmond Virginia Parish, Sr. and Velma Ruth (Chasteen) Parish. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lacy Cheyenne Parish; sister, Brenda Sue Parish and brothers: Lewis Walker and Robert Richie (Sonny) Parish.

Richmond lived in the Fort Towson and Hugo communities for most of his life. He loved to trade anything and everything and always made the best trade, coming out better than the other guys. Richmond enjoyed collecting Native American items, hunting for arrowheads and spending time in the woods after a good rain. He was a practical joker and loved to pull pranks on people. He also loved older model trucks, but not Fords –– he was a Chevy man. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with his kids and grandkids. Richmond’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and those he loved. CHI PISA LA CHIKE! Richmond is survived by his children: sons: Clifton Parish and wife of Hugo, Michael Parish and wife of Fort Towson, Richmond Parish III of Gosnell, Ark., Jordon Gemellaro and wife of Amarillo, Texas, Kevin Parish of Hugo, Kyle Parish and wife of Hugo, Blake Parish and wife of Haworth; daughters: Candace Clement and husband of Stillwater, Okla., Kayla Parish of Idabel and Tuchina Parish of Hugo; 22 grandkids; brothers: Buddy Parish, Johnny Parish, Ricky Parish and Omar Clark, all of Amarillo, Texas; sisters: Sheila Whipkey and husband, Edna Hawkins and Kathryn Parish, all of Amarillo, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Services are under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
