Graveside services for Steve Allen Dillworth were held Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 10 a.m. in the Frogville, Okla., Cemetery.

Steve Allen was a resident of Dallas, Texas and he died Monday, July 5, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was 64.

Steve Allen Dillworth was born Jan. 3, 1957 in Alabama to the union of David Lee and Lois Dillworth. He was raised and educated in California and Frogville, Okla., and graduated from Fort Towson High School in Fort Towson, Okla., in 1975.

Steve was a member of the Home of Christ Bible Fellowship Church in Dallas Texas, under the spiritual guidance of Rev. Shannon Little, Jr.

Upon graduating from high school, Steve enlisted in the military in 1975 and was stationed in Germany until being released with an honorable discharge. After being released from the military, Steve attended Bishop College in Dallas, Texas. After taking several classes at Bishop College, Steve decided to enter the workforce. He worked for several companies, such as BE&K Construction in Deridder, La., and Pittsburg, Calif., Fagen Construction in Saginaw, Mich., and Lynn Fueling in Dallas, Texas. Steve also specialized as a handy man and worked in the Dallas-Fort Worth area doing contract work for small companies and residents within the community.

Steve had several hobbies that he enjoyed: watching his Dallas Cowboys, OU Sooners and Oklahoma City Thunder sports teams. He also enjoyed watching movies while eating popcorn and spending time with family during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

Steve’s son, Steve, Jr., resides in the Washington state area. Steve is survived by his brothers: Charles Dillworth of Phoenix, Ariz.,; Theodore Dillworth of Hugo, Okla.; Dave Dillworth, of Hugo; Clifford Dillworth of Bullard, Texas; Gerald Dillworth of Frogville; Kenneth Dillworth of Hugo, and Craig Dillworth of Shawnee, Okla. He leaves to cherish his memory, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, David Lee and Lois Dillworth, and sister, Yvonne Dillworth Gartica.

Officiating the services was Rev. Shannon Little, Jr., under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home of Hugo.
