Teresa Ann Sanders

Funeral services for Teresa Ann Sanders, of Durant, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Feb. 8, 2022 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home. Teresa passed away Feb. 3, 2022, at the age of 70.

Teresa Ann (Sanders) Scott was born on May 19, 1951 in Little Rock, Ark., to Walter “Dude” Sanders and Gloria Francis (Lewis) Sanders. She was preceded in death by Charles Scott; her parents, Walter and Gloria; brothers: James Sanders and Anthony Sanders; sisters: Liddie Wilson, Tina Dean and Virginia Diane Sanders; and a grandson.

Teresa had lived in the Durant and Bennington community since 1997. She loved to shop online and was an avid OU Sooners fan. Teresa was a simple woman, but to everyone around her she was extraordinary. Her great joy in life however, was her family. Teresa loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids whole-heartedly and they were all the lights of her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Teresa is survived by her sons: Jimmy Edward Glenn of Benton, Ark., Michael Todd Glenn of Benton, Ark., and Eric Uziel Scott of Lacey, Wash.; daughter, Tabitha Diane Glenn of Durant; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters: Marilyn McKinney of Bengal, Okla., Connie Hill of Hot Springs, Ark., and Janice Johnson of Benton, Ark.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other friends and family.

Interment followed the service at Soper Cemetery with Bro. Johnny Corgill officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
