Theresa (Terry) M. Gibson

On Jan. 6, 2023, Theresa (Terry) M. Gibson, of Hugo, Okla., passed away due to complications from diabetes, with her family by her side.

Many have conveyed how loved and accepted she made them feel, and what a fun, joyful bright light she was. Terry was incredibly artistic and had a great love of math. She thrived on helping people move ahead in life through math. She also loved the elephants at the elephant sanctuary in Hugo where she found great joy donating her time and talents. She also loved her pets dearly. And lastly, she adored Dick, her husband of 34 years. They made each other laugh and cared more about each other than themselves until the very end. In a nutshell, she lived life with a lot of love and passion.

Hug or call your mom today, and open your heart in honor of Terry.

She is survived by her husband, Dick Gibson; her daughter, Deborah (Debbie) Norris, and her son, Don Fultz along with a blended family that loved her and miss her dearly. A Celebration of Life will be held at Endangered Ark Elephant Sanctuary on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023. Please email Deborahelaine@rocketmail. com for details.

PS: We can’t say enough about how kind, caring and compassionate everyone at Paris Regional Medical Center was. They went far beyond the call of duty for my family over the last few months. Their humanity was incredible and so important during this most difficult time in our lives.
