Graveside services for Thomas Wall, Sr., of Hugo, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 8, 2020 at Spencerville Cemetery in Spencerville, Okla. Thomas passed away Dec. 4, 2020, at the age of 74.

Thomas Wall Sr. was born on Oct. 18, 1946 in Spencerville, Okla., the son of George Otha and Willie Mae (Ammons) Wall. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Thomas married his sweetheart, Barbara Ann Doshier on Aug. 10, 1964 in Paris, Texas. He then served in the United States Army from May 3, 1966 until May 2, 1968. Thomas fought in the Vietnam War where he earned the Vietnam Service Medal with a bronze star, the overseas service bar. He was an expert marksman and a proud Veteran.

Thomas was a plumbing contractor and loved to hunt and fish. Thomas enjoyed many things but he most of all loved spending time with his family. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons: Thomas Wall, Jr. and wife, Nancy of Lane, Okla., and Robert Wall of Haworth, Okla.; daughter, Melissa Hickman and husband, Troy of Fort Towson, Okla.; brothers: Buddy Wall of Rattan and Billy Joe Wall of Messer, Okla.; sister, Dolly Tate of Durant, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; caregiver, Christal Newsome, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Tommy Wall, Jr. officiated the service, assisted by Matt Arnold, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
