A group of 12 businessmen and women and industry leaders met at Hugo Lake State Park last week for Oklahoma Southeast’s annual Lieutenant Governor’s Turkey Hunt. The purpose of the annual hunt is to bring a diverse group of people into the community to discuss economic development opportunities and ways in which the area can better set itself up to attract industry.

The Goodland Board of Trustees has named Chris Scott as the new Interim Director of Goodland Academy. This decision was met with overwhelming support of the board.
