The Second Session of the 58th Legislature convened this month, and we’ve been off to the races since the very first day. We modified our processes this year on how we move legislation through the Senate to increase efficiency and transparency, so the first two weeks have been especially busy.

We will continue to enjoy this lovely weather for the entire week with sunny days through Friday and high temperatures in the mid- to upper-70s. Cooler weather will come early next week, with highs in the 60s on Monday. Showers and thunderstorms are possible this weekend

Kiamichi Tech Hugo instructor attends Kubota tech training

Diesel Technology Instructor Homer Chapman (pictured second from left) attended Kubota Train-the-Trainer Jan. 31 through Feb. 4. The training took place in Phoenix/Buckeye, Ariz., at the Western Maricopa Education Center. Mr. Chapman received Kubota certifications in Pre-Delivery Inspection & Delivery and Electricity & Electronics. The certifications are authorized through NC3 (National Coalition of Certification Centers).
