‘Gateway to Oklahoma History’ Second Saturday demo at Fort Towson Historic Site

FORT TOWSON - On Saturday, Nov. 14, from 1 to 3 p.m., Fort Towson Historic Site will host Chad Williams, the director of the Research Division for the Oklahoma Historical Society, who will present a program entitled “The Gateway to Oklahoma History” for the November installment of the Second Saturday Demo series.

Support for President Trump was on full display Saturday morning as the “silent majority” stepped out of the shadows and into the early morning light at the Hugo Agriplex. Trucks, cars, SUVs, motorcycles, semi trucks and even a float and large stock trailer all decorated with pro-Trump messages, assorted flags, banners and stickers — rolled out of Hugo at 9 a.m.

Buffs claim Black & Blue Bowl trophy in OT thriller!

HUGO — The Hugo Buffaloes claimed their second Black and Blue Bowl trophy in as many years Friday at Gene Nesbit Stadium in one for the record books… a 35-34 OT thriller. The Antlers Bearcats lived up to their pre-game billing, bringing the top-two rushing backs in 2A-6 onto Buff Parker Field as well as three of the top-10 tacklers in the district.
