Three members of drug enterprise sentenced for federal drug crimes

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that three Oklahoma residents, Robert James Jackson, 31 of Hugo, Andre Cimone Golston, 35 of Idabel and Antwaine Tremaine Nelson, 33 of Idabel, were sentenced for federal drug charges. Jackson was sentenced to 168 months in prison for one count of distribution of methamphetamine, Golston was sentenced to 48 months in prison for one count of use of a communication facility, and Nelson was sentenced to 46 months in prison for one count of use of a communication facility.

Felony warrants still outstanding for lady whose car slammed into Hugo service station

HUGO — Hugo Chief of Police John Mitchell has confirmed that multiple felony warrants are currently outstanding for Jasmine Michelle Stubblefield, 37, as a result of her vehicle crashing into the Hill & Son Service Station on West Jackson Street in Hugo, and effectively destroying the service station fuel business.

Hugo’s annual Juneteenth

Celebration will be held Saturday, June 15. Line up for the parade will be held at 5 p.m. at the Hugo football stadium. The parade will begin at 6 p.m. and end at Cora Lee Park, where an opening ceremony will begin. There will be food, bounce houses, fireworks, games and cash prizes. Vendors are welcome.
