Chad Eric Austin

Chad Eric Austin was born April 13, 1987 at Paris, Texas, the son of Rick and Patricia Austin.

Chad enjoyed preaching and encouraging people in their faith and in life. He had a heart for people and was a natural-born motivator and leader. Not only could you count on him in that moment, but he continued to reach out to people long after a need. He was an encourager, was non-judgmental and genuinely cared for people and their well-being.

Chad passed away June 22, 2024, at the age of 37.

He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, amazing dad, mentor, leader and genuinely compassionate friend.

Chad is survived by his true love, Macey Austin; children: Jaci Austin, Avery Austin, Harper Austin, Zadie Wallis, Willow Austin; parents, Rick and Patricia Austin of Boswell; sisters: Rikki Manous and husband, Brent of Boswell, Kara Burgess and husband, Jerry of Durant, Brittany Pebsworth and husband, Dusty of Boswell; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Karen and Clark Lorraine; sister-in-law, Morgan Huffman; brothers-in-law: Braden Lorraine, Seth Lorraine; uncle, Robbie Chandler; numerous other relatives and an immeasurable number of students, teachers and friends whom he left a lasting impact upon.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Carl Chandler, Orpha Chandler and Aimel Austin.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2024 at the Boswell School Gymnasium with Robbie Chandler officiating. Interment will follow in the Restland Cemetery at Boswell.

Family will receive friends at the New Life Family Church in Boswell, Oklahoma from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2024.
