Charles Coleman Reed

Funeral services for Charles Coleman Reed, of Antlers, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022 at Miller & Miller Funeral Chapel. Charles passed away Dec. 24, 2022, at the age of 66.

Charles Coleman Reed was born on Sept. 25, 1956, in Dallas, Texas, the son of Dalton Reed and Frances (Motley) Green. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Charles married the love of his life, Terri Hicks in Dallas, Texas, in 1976. He was a firefighter for Delta County Texas for more than 20 years and was also a Justice of the Peace in Delta County for four years. Charles loved the outdoors and helping people when he was able. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his grandkids. Charles also loved racing dirt track cars and was a very patriotic American. He lived a simple life, but he was totally dedicated to his family. Charles will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Charles is survived by his wife of 46 years, Terri; sons: Chad Reed and wife of Cooper, Texas, Ty Reed of Rattan, Okla., and James Reed of Rattan; daughters, Staci Reed of Paris, Texas, and Shannon Ray and husband of Rattan; seven grandchildren, a great-grandchild, along with a host of friends, family and loved ones.

Rick Richardson officiated the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
