Chapel services for Franklin “Frank” Dewayne Covington, of Sawyer, Okla., will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 2, 2021 at Hydro Masonic Cemetery Chapel in Hydro, Okla.

Franklin Dewayne Covington passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 28, 2021, in his home from a cerebral aneurysm, at the age of 55. He was born into this world on Aug. 31, 1965, to Clifford and Martha Pauline Covington in Oklahoma City, Okla. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Covington and his mother-in-law.

Frank attended and graduated from Hinton High School in 1984. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 20. Frank worked for Pepsi Cola, Sisco Foods and other trucking companies. His last employment was with Red Top Trucking out of Grant, Okla. Frank married Trina Morelock on Oct. 14, 1987 in Wichita Falls, Texas, and they made their home in Hydro. He had been a bass fisherman since he was big enough to swim and walk across the pasture to the pond. Fishing was second only to deer and turkey hunting. Frank also loved dirt bike racing, but the most important thing to Frank was his wife and children. He loved them and his many friends and family members.

Frank is survived by his wife, Trina Covington of Hydro; sons: Dustin Covington and wife of Norman, Okla., Dakota Covington of Hydro; daughter, Kaitlyn Covington of Macon, Ga.; two grandchildren; parents: Pauline Lovelace and stepfather, Bill Lovelace of Custer City, Okla.; sisters: Toni Creswell and husband of Weatherford, Okla., and Dana Bassett of Langley, Okla., along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Wendall Folsom will officiate the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
