Myrtle Roberts

Graveside services for Myrtle Roberts, of Broken Bow, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 27, 2021 at Moran Cemetery in Valliant.

Myrtle Roberts, age 38 of Broken Bow, passed from this life on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021. She is preceded in death by her mother, Francis Roberts; and sister, Dawn Wheat.

Myrtle Louisa Roberts was born Nov. 15, 1982 in Idabel, Okla., the daughter of Dennis Roberts, Sr. and Francis (Barnes) Roberts. Myrtle enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, going to the river, and cooking some barbecue. She loved listening to country music, camo, anything to do with boots, jeans and being a cowgirl. Myrtle was known to be one who loved to make others laugh.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters: Jasmine and Francis Elrod of Broken Bow; father, Dennis Roberts, Sr. of Broken Bow; brothers: Michael Roberts of Broken Bow, Dennis Lee Roberts, Jr., and wife of Holly Creek, Okla.; sisters: Christine Rounsaville and husband of Broken Bow, Rosa Allison of Broken Bow, Anna Shomo of Broken Bow and Stephanie Shomo of Paris, Texas, along with many loved family and friends.

Bro. Chip Pinkerton officiated the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
