Nicki Jo Reeder

Funeral services for Nicki Jo Reeder, of Howe, Texas, will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 30, 2021 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home. Nicki passed away Dec. 23, 2021, at the age of 50.

Nicki Jo Reeder was born on March 1, 1971, in Hugo, Okla., to Stanley Wayne and Gwen (Chappell) McMillin. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kelley Wayne McMillin; and grandparents.

Nicki grew up in the Hugo area and was a graduate of Hugo High School, Class of 1989. She moved to Carrollton, Texas, where she has resided the last 25 years with her family. Nicki loved her family and friends dearly, she was amazing at decorating, cooking, and hosting great parties for her friends and loved ones. She was an extraordinarily strong woman who was selfproficient and could take care of herself in any situation. Nicki was very passionate about her family, she especially loved spending time with her granddaughter and kids. Nicki loved to travel, especially spending time on the beach was her absolute favorite. Her passing has left a huge void in her family, and she will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

Nicki is survived by her son, Spencer Wayne Farrell of Carrolton, Texas; daughter, Kelsey Smith of Howe, Texas; son, Ricky Waters of San Francisco, Calif.; a granddaughter; sister, Dana Williams of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; nieces and nephews, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Hugo.

Interment will follow the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
