BOSWELL — Despite a gallant effort by Boswell Scorpions C.J. Jeffries and Kanyon Packwood,who scored 16 and 15 points respectively, Boswell was not able to corral Rattan’s Jace May and James Childers (who scored 23 and 19 respectively) and fell to the RAMS, 70-56.

Before the Buffaloes’ season started Tuesday night, head coach Darnell Shanklin sat down with the Hugo News to discuss what to expect from the Buffs this year. Hugo is coming off a strong season, losing only two games, but the Buffaloes graduated nine seniors, including all five starters.
