OSDH weekly epidemiology report

Body
According to the Oklahoma Department of Health, Oklahoma’s current trend with new positive cases continues to reflect community transmission, which can be reduced by keeping six feet of physical distance from others, wearing face coverings when around individuals from outside the household, avoiding touching your face and regular hand-washing.

Weather Update

Body
A fairly quiet week of weather is shaping up for eastern Oklahoma with only a 30 to 40% chance of a thunderstorm Wednesday and Thursday, but otherwise partly cloudy. High temperatures in the mid-80s and the nights will be clear with temperatures dropping into the mid-60s. Right now next weekend is looking great with sunshine and 80 degrees, let’s hope that forecast holds.
