UNDEFEATED CHAMPIONS! — The Hugo-based Reckless Ballers basketball squad has recently returned from Tavares, Fla., where they went undefeated to reign as Tournament Champions in the Florida Big House. Prior to that tournament win, they went undefeated to be crowned Champions of the Mt. Pleasant Tournament with a five-game smash of the competition. HUGO — A celebration luncheon to honor longtime friend and family member Bob Steele was held at Roma’s Restaurant in Hugo, Okla., Tuesday, June 22, to remember his 86th birthday. Rich Stephens of Tulsa organized the luncheon to coincide with honoring a local couple for their lifetime of work preserving Oklahoma’s Heritage Horses — the Spanish Mustang.
