After a year spent working hard to raise funds, 35 recent graduates of the Hugo High School Class of 2024 were able to enjoy the benefits of that work on a cruise to Mexico last week. These students have been fundraising since June 2023 by working the rodeo concession stand, having taco sales, hibachi lunches, Indian taco sales, 50-50 chances, a fun in the sun day with bounce houses and a few more events.

VFW Club members, along with school organizations and local volunteers, paid their respects to late veterans by placing American flags on their graves at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. This is an annual event that precedes the Memorial Day celebration each year. For more information to join the VFW Club or to become involved in next year’s event, contact the VFW at 580.326.6316.
