In the wake of last week’s ruling by the U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver, which stated that the City of Tulsa did not have the ability to enforce municipal laws upon certain tribal members, Hugo News reached out to chief law-enforcement officials in Hugo and Choctaw County for their reaction to the court’s action.

FORT TOWSON –– Young people can learn about the natural world around us with a forestry program presented by Oklahoma Forestry Services Education Coordinator Tony Pascall (pictured). June was Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, a time to encourage national conversation about brain health and raise awareness to improve health care outcomes. Over six million Americans are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Of that number, 67,000 are Oklahomans.
