She is preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia White; two sons: Darren White and Bobby White; her parents; former husband, Joe Richard and three greatgrandchildren.

Burial will be at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, Okla. Sherman went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, in Paris, Texas, at the age of 86.
