the point Publisher The presence of gray clouds in the skies is a welcome change of events here in drought stricken Oklahoma. The entire state is included in most reports of severe drought and we have missed the valuable moisture that hurricane season usually pushes our way by this time of the year.

The summer of ‘22 will be remembered for years to come in Southeast Oklahoma as one of the driest on record. While Mother Nature was kind to us in May and June, she buttoned things up in July, August and September and county pastures are beyond parched.
